A New App for Art Lovers visiting Santa Fe launches
The Santa Fe Art Experience is the definitive guide to Museums, Galleries and Studios.
October 12, 2018. Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tourism Santa Fe partnered with the Curt Doty Company to develop the SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE app, available on the app store, a new way to discover every gallery, museum and artist studio in town.
Navigating all of Santa Fe’s galleries can be a little bit overwhelming, but this experience touring app is an engaging introduction to Santa Fe's most famous arts districts. the SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE mobile app is the definitive and most comprehensive guide to what the arts districts of Santa Fe have to offer, while you are right there on the street. The dynamic tour encapsulates the Art Experience exposing you to the galleries and art that might otherwise be missed.
The City Different brings many thousands of smartphone users per year with its more than 250 galleries to explore, you'll be astonished by the city's array of art, including traditional and contemporary painting, photography, pottery, sculpture, textiles and more.
As you walk the city discovering one gallery after another along the legendary Canyon Road, around the Plaza and Downtown, in the historic Railyard Arts District, and the emerging Midtown Arts District, you'll agree: Art lies at the heart of Santa Fe.
Randy Randall, Executive Director of TOURISM Santa Fe says,“We have now launched a number of apps in support of TOURISM Santa Fe. The Margarita Trail, the Santa Fe Wayfinder App and the Kids Culture Passport are all available to download, and I am pleased that we are adding yet another in support of the Visual Arts. I first met Curt and we shared a vision of the lack of support for ALL the galleries in Santa Fe. He showed me an idea for a Canyon Road app that he had developed on his own and I asked if we could expand that to the whole city. He said of course and now this new app is beautiful and easy to navigate.”

The SANTA FE ART EXPERIENCE is also more than an app. It also builds community through its new Facebook and Instagram social channels which will support events and openings for all participating galleries and museums. They provide a great opportunity for galleries to get information on upcoming shows and events in front of people on a timely basis.”
